Drug and Alcohol Training – NYC DOB Requirement (Local Law 196)
Local Law 196 mandates specific training hours for demolition and construction workers across New York City’s five boroughs. Completion of our 2-hour alcohol and drug awareness class online is essential to obtain the Site Safety Training (SST) card necessary for NYC employment. Additional requirements include the 30-hour OSHA construction course and an 8-hour fall prevention course.

- Local law 196 introduced new regulations for demolition and construction workers employed in the 5 boroughs that will require them to complete a certain amount of training hours including the 2 hour alcohol and drug awareness classes online in order to receive a Site Safety Training (SST) card which will allow them to work in NYC.
