OSHA 10 and 30 TRAINING COURSES for Construction 

OSHA cover the Federal regulation for the construction industry 29, CRF 1926 for construction workers, In New York workers are required to have a minimum of 30 hours OSHA training. In accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, employers have become responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy workplace. 

This training program is a comprehensive review of OSHA procedures, policies, and standards. This course will give students a strong understanding of construction safety and health principles as well as place an emphasis on the most hazardous areas using OSHA standards and regulations as a guideline.

Students will learn to locate and identify OSHA standards in 29 CFR, know their rights and responsibilities, identify causes of accidents and fatalities in hazardous areas within the worksite while providing abatement technique suggestions for these hazards, and learn to understand most construction processes, materials, and equipment.

EPA-Lead Based Paint Worker 16 Hours Initial

Certificate Information:This 16 Hours EPA lead abatement course is designed to meet federal EPA training requirements per 40 CFR Part 745. Abatement is any set of measures designed to permanently eliminate lead-based paint hazards. Abatement work that is not conducted by a Certified Lead Abatement Worker under the supervision of a certified Lead Supervisor is subject to heavy fines by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or Authorized State lead enforcement bodies. 

This course is offered in-person, and provides the necessary training for workers who will be involved with lead abatement projects. Certified abatement firms must have certified Lead Abatement Workers on site who have completed lead abatement training & certification from an approved provider, and have registered and been approved by the EPA or Authorized State. 

Contractors performing abatement work must have at least one EPA or state certified Lead Abatement Supervisor directing the work, with the assistance of certified Lead Abatement Workers if required.
